Delayed action surface marker buoys are fast becoming a standard accessory for every diver.


All models can be easily filled from your second stage or spare air system.

The self-sealing buoys - the SMBC & the SMBCi - have an internal baffle which seals shut on filling to prevent accidental deflation and also allows you to wave them at the surface to attract attention - a major advantage over other makes of sausage-style buoys.

The SMBC and SMBCi now also feature an eyelet at the top end, which can be used to attach a strobe, a message slate or identification marker.

All buoys roll up neatly for pocket storage, external attachment or stowage in the custom SMB pouches now standard on all BUDDY Pioneer, Commando and Explorer BCDs.
